IonOpticks today announces a significant expansion of its UK and European presence, with the official opening of a purpose-built facility in Oxfordshire UK, extending the company’s global infrastructure alongside its business headquarters in Melbourne, Australia.

The new facility, based in the Milton Park scientific precinct south of Oxford, brings together order processing and distribution, locally warehoused stock, administrative support, commercial leadership, scientific expertise and an applications development laboratory equipped with the latest mass spectrometry technology. For customers across the UK and Europe, this means faster deliveries, simplified ordering, local technical and application support, and easier access to advanced chromatography solutions for high-performance proteomics research.

By supporting local procurement through Oxford, IonOpticks can significantly reduce delivery times and help researchers avoid unnecessary delays to planned experiments. The company will streamline order fulfillment, minimising any administrative burden experienced by customers due to international procurement.

The investment also strengthens IonOpticks’ ability to integrate with institutional procurement systems, support local administrative requirements and provide a more responsive experience for laboratories, purchasing teams and research organisations.

The facility provides a regional base for technical expertise, applications development and customer engagement, supporting researchers from product selection and procurement through to method optimisation, troubleshooting and ongoing application support.

Customers across the UK and Europe already have access to a dedicated in-region commercial team, including Dr Britta Diedrich, Sales Director Europe, and Dr Joris Frenz, Business Development Manager, Europe. Together, they bring deep scientific and commercial experience across proteomics, LC-MS technologies and laboratory workflow adoption, helping researchers identify the right IonOpticks solutions for their applications.

As part of this expanded regional focus, IonOpticks is pleased to introduce Dr Anuar Makhmut as Field Application Specialist, Europe. Based in the region, Anuar will work closely with researchers across the UK and Europe to support customer questions, method troubleshooting, workflow optimisation and the adoption of advanced chromatography solutions for proteomics research.

Anuar’s appointment adds dedicated application expertise to IonOpticks’ existing European commercial support and strengthens the company’s ability to work more closely with laboratories across the region.
