What a night. Our 7-year anniversary celebration brought a full house of our team, users, collaborators, and researchers together to celebrate the journey we’ve been on since 2017.

Thank you to everyone who attended and made it such a fun night. It wouldn’t have been a party without you. And huge thank you to the staff and venue at Altes Standesamt. With your music, drinks, and food selection, couldn’t ask for a better way to mark this milestone.

If there’s one sign that our community is growing along with IonOpticks, it’s that every event we throw just gets bigger. Here’s to the next chapter, to many more years of innovation, collaboration, and bigger celebration!

About this event

We turned 7 years old in September.

What began in 2017 with a single 25cm self-packed column, has grown into a comprehensive range of products trusted by researchers and CROs worldwide.

While we made sure to celebrate as a team, this is such a significant milestone for us that we just had to share the joy with you, our customers, users and industry peers – without whom we wouldn’t be what we are today. Plus, with the addition of Adelis Equity Partners to the IonOpticks team to enhance our growth and global expansion, there’s a lot to celebrate. Thank you to those who joined us at the Altes Standesamt, a modern redevelopment of a historical building, to celebrate in style, on us.

A venue rich in history

“Altest Standesamt” translates to “old civil registration office”, because that’s exactly what this venue is – or, more precisely, was. The building, which was constructed in 1829, acted as Dresden’s civil registry office from 1945 to 1994. Several marriages of Dresden’s citizens were registered here. Extensive redevelopment has turned this historical building into a club-style modern event venue, allowing celebrations of all kinds, in style, since 2015. Housing function spaces with a multitude of capacities and atmospheres, it’s the perfect venue to celebrate, which is just what we’re doing for our 7th anniversary event – just on the other side of the Elbe river from the International Congress Center.
