About the event

We’re attending BSPR this year and hosting Peaks & Pints on July 13 at The Red Lion Inn – just a 6-minute walk from Hinxton Hall Conference Centre.

As part of our global, roving event series, Peaks & Pints is a complimentary event designed to bring researchers together in a relaxed and social setting. Hosted across Europe, North America, APAC, and beyond, the series creates opportunities to connect with fellow scientists, IonOpticks users, and our team over drinks and light food – on us.

Each Peaks & Pints event is fully catered and intentionally relaxed in atmosphere, blending networking with opportunities to hear directly from users generating impactful data. Join us as we continue expanding the programme throughout 2026.

Here are the details for the Hinxton edition of Peaks & Pints:

• Free – spaces are limited, early registration is encouraged

What to expect

An informal evening to connect with proteomics researchers over drinks and conversation.

We’ll have light food available from 7:30pm – 9:00pm, with drinks flowing throughout the evening until 11:00pm.

Whether you’re troubleshooting separations, exploring new workflows, or simply curious about what other labs are working on, Peaks & Pints creates space to share insights, spark ideas, and build meaningful connections. Events are hosted across a mix of premium hospitality venues as well as research institutions, universities, and local auditoriums, creating familiar and engaging environments wherever we go.

Some Peaks & Pints gatherings are more structured – featuring keynote presentations from real-world users, shared data and social proof of the technology, and opportunities for hands-on experience. Others, such as this one, are purely social, focused on networking and conversation.
