On Thursday, June 4, we’re bringing together the people who make this community so special for an unforgettable evening above the San Diego skyline. After a packed week of ideas, discoveries, conversations, and connections at ASMS 2026, this is your chance to step away from the conference floor, take in the view, and celebrate the science, and the people, behind it all.

This exclusive ticketed event will be held at Deck 655, one of San Diego’s most spectacular rooftop venues, just a five-minute walk from the ASMS closing event. We’ll be welcoming guests with live entertainment, delicious food, and drinks in an exceptional setting high above the city, creating the perfect backdrop to relax, reconnect, and enjoy the final night of ASMS.

Renowned DJ and saxophonist Tim Lacatena joins IonOpticks once again to bring the vibes, music, and atmosphere worthy of a dance floor. Expect an unforgettable soundtrack to the evening as the San Diego skyline sets the scene for one final celebration.

Deck 655 brings the energy of ASMS into one of San Diego’s most memorable event spaces. Set on the edge of Downtown San Diego at Kettner and West Broadway, this 8,500 sq. ft. indoor-outdoor venue opens onto a 125-foot promenade deck with sweeping views from Point Loma to Coronado, creating the perfect backdrop for a final night of connection, celebration, and city lights.  

Step outside and you’ll find open-air decks with lounge furniture, built-in heating, lighting, and surround sound, ideal for taking in the San Diego night sky with a drink in hand. Inside, the venue shifts into a sleek, contemporary space with a full bar, banquet-style dining areas, and a game room made for guests who want to keep the energy going.
