Erik Verschuuren
Global Head of Sales
Erik Verschuuren brings three decades of life science sales experience to IonOpticks, including 20 years in management and business development roles. His extensive background includes leadership positions at several prominent companies in the proteomics field including Applied Biosystems, Proxeon, Thermo Scientific and Evosep.
His experience spans various protein analysis techniques, from early work with chromatography and Maldi-TOF systems at Applied Biosystems to heading European sales at Proxeon and later developing Thermo’s Microbial Proteomics Program.
Based in Europe, Erik oversees the commercial operations of IonOpticks global sales force.
Zac Anderson
Business Development Manager, North America
Based in North America, Zac brings over eight years of biotechnology industry experience. His background combines scientific expertise with business acumen, including extensive work with mass spectrometry vendors and research laboratories.
His specialisations in discovery proteomics, quantitative proteomics, antibody sequencing, and immunopeptidomics position him ideally to support the North American research community. Anderson holds Science degrees from the University of Guelph, complemented by studies in Business and Administration.
